Treatment Feedback.

What worked well? (e.g effective application of genre conventions)
I think our pitch went really well. As a group we managed to construct a good script to read out that outlined all of the worries/questions that people may ask. We talked about who had what role, who our target audience was, where we would maybe film, why the opening scene fits the genre, the music that the opening scene had, the conventions we challenged, the research we had and what is our opening sequence. Kirstie and myself were quite nervous so read off the sheet but Connor done really well by directing the audience directly and giving eye contact.

What would make your initial idea even better?
Mr Lawes gave us an idea to change the characters so they're 'worlds apart'. For example, he said that maybe one of the girls could work in a primary school and be very creative and cheerful, and then the other girl could be in the banking industury and be very smart and punctual and level-headed. We thought this would be a good idea and took it onboard and are planning to take a trip to mine, connors & kirstie's old primary school to ask their permission to film there :)

What will you do next?
Next we will rethink our opening sequence and think about how we need to change it to accustom the new job of the character, we will also write dialogue for the phone conversation, finalize locations and a shot list and draw up a stroyboard. We will also begin to think about actors who we could possibly use :')
