In todays lesson we got ALOT done. Yesterday, we filmed at Kirstie's house for all of Jessica's shots. We finished everything and today we finalised our rush cuts and got it in the order we wanted it. We've taken screenshots along the way to show what we've learnt in editing. We started off with Kirstie editing and we taught her the basics of how to move, cut, render, change speed and in&out points. Then connor had a go and done all the bathroom scenes. Then i had a go and edited all the stairs and wardrobe bits. Then connor went back on the editing and started to cut down. Then Kirstie did the same whilst Connor did, and then finally i did it too. We then sat down as a group and thought about what we had left to do. We have titles, voiceover, colour changes and making sure everything runs smotthly. We then recorded a video on our progress. Both the screenshots and the video are below.
In this screenshot you can see that as a group we had to do some colour correction, because some of our shots were too dark.
This shows how far we're getting with our opening sequence. We also figured out how to use folders.
You can see from this screenshot that we are starting to use new tools.

We are also getting the hang of rendering.
