What was my role in the filming and editing process?
My role in the filming process was the same as the members of my group. We each picked a few shots to film. I, personally, shot the first few which was the match-on action shots. Below are the shots that i filmed.

I think i completed this match-on-acton well as we can see a short sequence of Amie walking down the corridor and then opening the door and walking through it. In the editing process my role was to put together the rushes in the right order. We done this first, without cutting anything we simply got the shots in the right order. I then cut the clips up to the locket dropping on the floor then handed over to Kayleigh. In the planning progress i also done a few storyboard shots, which werent as detailed as Kayleighs (showed below) and i also planned what each twin would be wearing which would be the fundemental thing to set the 'twins' apart. (also shown below)
How did i meet the brief?
I think, as a group we definitely managed to meet the brief. We managed to include match-on-action(showed below)..

We also completed shot-reverse-shot, as well as 180degree rule (both shown).
Also in our pre lim we had our character walking across the room..
& we had them exchanging dialogue, so yes i think we met the brief :)
How am i going to improve and use what i've learnt for my main task.
Well im going to try an be more inventive and different because i think this script was easily predictable and kind of boring. Im also going to try and use a variation of shots aswell.. because this pre-lim seemed a little boring and 'dead'. I think with a few more inventive shots it would really liven it up a bit. Also, if i played about with lighting and mise-en-scene i could really make things lot more interesting. For this prelim task, i have a lot of positives. One positive is that we succeeded in meeting the brief. We have clean, well recorded shots that arent over the top shaky or jumpy. They communicate the feeling of a conversation well and the relationship between these two people. I think my weaknesses for this prelim was the lack of variation in shots. Next time i will hope to change this by using different shots.
